It will be interesting to see what sort of reception DIGITS gets from the general public. It may be too complicated/esoteric.
As I posted here a while ago - for me the killer use of DIGITS is in data mode while roaming. I was in Spain last month, and the voice quality using DIGITS with the free 256 kbps roaming data was great. I was able to make and receive free calls to/from the US using DIGITS

See my other post about new Sprint Global, which is going after T MO international 2g. And I have both Project Fi and Google Voice, so in my experience, thats the target. Its all good.
