I was on that flight and also overheard the conversation about the cabin attendant not being able to get something from the economy offering. It was pretty poor indeed. However, having said that and having had one of the CE meal choices (chicken flatbread), I have to say the customer was probably better off not getting the food as it was terrible. The other option (duck salad) also did not look very good at all!

I booked that flight 4.5 hours before it departed, so I guess I was lucky (well, sort of) to get food...
