Hi all,

Need some clarification about my baggage allowance. I'll soon be flying AKL-LHR with Cathay, via HKG. I'm in economy and both flights are on the same ticket.
Looking at Cathay's website, the AKL-HKG leg appears to be 23kg, one piece? But HKG-LHR is 30kg total, two pieces.

Will I receive the 30kg allowance all the way from AKL?
I've read about the most significant carrier rule, but not sure if it applies here? Google seems to think the HKG-LHR leg is longer by about 500km.
