A good point. I'm also quite worried in case of stay of over 12hrs at ADD - I'll be worried if I didn't have the vaccination certificate. Fortunately I took the shot 8yrs ago and still is valid (it's valid for 10yrs) so I carry with me whenever I fly ET even if I'm only on transit at ADD and the final destination is Yellow Fever free zone. I also wonder how many of passengers on ET actually possess the vaccination certificate especially who are just on transit on ADD and connecting between say Europe and Asia/southern Africa.
Well I am doing exactly that and have no certificate. Obviously I did the research and that is why this actually came up.
On a side note, the WHO has deemed that vaccinations are now valid for a lifetime, including existing ones. If I understood correctly countries do not necessarily need to adhere to that but most do.
