Yesterday, I flew MEX/ATL, and, it was EXTREMELY bumpy closer in to ATL for maybe an hour or more, but, the service was finished by then.
THEN - flying ATL/PIT - I was in row 17 on an MD-88 - FAs doing the drink service were at about row 13 when it got a teeny tiny bit bumpy, and the pilot announced for the FAs to discontinue service and be seated. They started back up about 20 minutes later.
When I got to ATL, weather warnings started to hit. EVERYTHING from ATL to NYC was delayed 1 - 1.5 - 3 hours and more! I got IROP'ed onto the nonstop to PIT - and still claimed the miles for a connection at LGA!
