Because there is absolutely no difference, whatsoever. Therefore nobody should have a problem whatsoever.
Look, it's the handle portion that people touch, not the tips where the food is grabbed or scooped from. The handle part is the part touching the food, and sometimes left soaking in it. The whole point is Minimizing. I never implied that any method was fool proof.
