Restaurants de-rounding the bill
A few weeks ago, I rounded a tab up to an even $27. The charges came through as $26.99 (269 miles). Today, I had a $5 tab at a different place come through as $4.99 (49 miles).
Are these places that cheap that the extra mile will kill them? Or is there some facet of the restaurant biz of which I'm unaware regarding credit card billing that might affect this situation?
