We are holders of French and Malaysian passport. We would appreciate some clarification on whether we are entitled to the 24 hours TWOV:

1. We will take a bus from Mongolian border at Zamiin Uud to Chinese border at Erlian (ETA 12pm). Thereafter we plan to take a bus to Beijing (ETA 12am). Flight to 3rd country is departing at 6am.

As we will first enter China by land, could we take advantage of the 24 hours TWOV?

2. How about, if we were to fly from Mongolia to PEK, and later take a flight from Beijing airport to a 3rd country.
