Arrived at Check-in at FCO about 3 hours before due departure time but were not allowed to check-in until they were absolutely sure the plane was on its way out from the UK. Had to hang around the check-in area waiting rather than being sat in the lounge. OK I know its not great but have never seen it busy so it's a quiet place to wait.
