I am heading through in a couple of weeks on the return leg of an ex-EU, we are arriving at FCO at 10:35 on BA552 and not leaving again until 18:45 on BA557. We plan to head into the city for a bit in the middle and it would be nice to not take bags with us.
Will the check in desk let us drop the bags for our evening flight when we arrive? I assume the counters will be open as there are other flights every few hours throughout the day. I am a GCH and my other half is a silver if that affects anything.
