She'd taken alprazolam, also known as Xanax, apparently without prescription.

I can only assume that the cabin crew saw the effects of the Xanax, saw her sniffing a lot, put two and two together and got 476,990. Easy done if you don't know what the effects are; it's hard to imagine confusing the effects of cocaine and a sedative, but there we are.
