If someone was going to take over a flight (and I hope this never happens again), it would be much easier to gain access to the cockpit and pilots WHEN THE DOOR IS WIDE OPEN!!!!! This is not to say that the crew has to "hide" or "cringe" behind locked doors, but to me, this is just common sense.
But the aircraft isn't going anywhere.
Stealing a parked passenger aircraft is not going to happen.
"Let me take off!"
"No"
"I'll blow up the plane!"
"You'll probably do that anyway. So, no!"
