The resort looks beautiful, but August in Egypt with 2 young kids just does't sound too appealing to me. Safety and heat stroke are two concerns that come quickly to mind. The resort may be secure, but if I was in Egypt, I'd want to do more than just park our butts on the hotel grounds for 10-12 days and I just don't think I would be comfortable (with the kids) at this point in time. And I just can't imagine it being less than 95 degrees in August.
