Couple of points. 1)The AA upgrades to PE are only short term. They were never announced to be a permanent benefit. 2)DL has as.many or more new planes on the way. 3)AA is not installing IFE on the.new planes. Only their Delta Studio equal. Trust me when I say no where.near the selection. 4)upgrades are not ticket revenue based, but 12 month YTD EQD based. Thus me with $30k EQD will Trump another EXP on a $2000 Y fare with only $15k EQD. 5)AA cancels flights left and right, and when they do operate are normally late. (I ignore LAX/SFO airport type issues as those effect all airlines)

I fly both. Am DM and EXP. I just recently spent two days trying to go IAH-SAT via DFW due to AA incompetence. Doug Parker vision for AA seems to be a Spirit like airline and it's only getting worse.
