Either way, no Notification sent would have me mad, and ask for compensation. May not be IDB, but it is awful service.
It's worth asking- I wouldn't mind being compensated for the $80 I paid for the reception I'll miss tonight. (If I'd known, say, a week ago, I could have cancelled it and gotten my money back.) My concern is that if I go to UA they'll say it's AC's fault, and vice versa. I'm retired so I've got the time to rattle their cages- which should I approach first?
