Frequnent 747s services are still seen at PEK, ICN, LHR and FRA and these airports may have enough spare parts and mechanics to work on the 747 if needed.
TPE (and PVG) may not have the adequate 747 support on the ground.
Both BR and CI have existing 747 operations, especially for the cargo business. I believe CI has a couple dozen left and BR maybe half of that. EGAT also does maintenance for a bunch of other asian carriers, and actually did the conversion of 747s into the "Dreamlifter" in partnership with Boeing.
