OK, I feel almost silly posting this but I did promise a follow-up.

I tried checking in with a different computer. It worked. The seat I was assigned is a Window- my favorite. Not only that- I'm TSA Pre-Check.

Oh, well. Thanks for working through this with me. Without being confirmed as checked in I probably would have set the alarm for some insane hour to get to the airport crazy early.
