I've had this issue a few times when trying to check in online with AC, and I always assume it's the dreaded SSSS but each time I've shown up at the airport and they printed my boarding pass in seconds with no issues, no SSSS and precheck every time. No complaints there, but it is annoying having to check in at the airport when I have carry on only.
