If one purchases a seat selection and then subsequently earns status to qualify for free seat selection prior to departure, would they be eligible for a refund?
I asked the same question when I got my silver as was told no. Luckily my extra legroom SH seat became non extra legroom with a eqipment change from a 320 to a 319. Ba happily refunded me my seat selection fee and then moved me to an extra legroom seat for free.
