I am flying Air Tahiti Nui on an award ticket PPT > LAX with a flight that leaves at 11pm. I need to book a flight from BOB > PPT. I could come in at 2pm or 7pm. I would prefer 7pm obviously since sitting at the airport for 9 hours would be a drag. I have priority pass so I do have lounge access, but 9 hours is long any way you shake it.

Landing at 7pm with an 11pm international flight - how does that align:
1) I would have to get my bags off the Air Tahiti flight and re check for air Tahiti Nui - in a small airport, I have to assume I have more than ample time
2) weather/on time reliability. Do not want to miss my flight to LAX (well I wouldn't mind to be stuck there but I do have to get back to work!). Are these flights fairly on time? If a late afternoon storm seems to be coming in is it easy to switch to an earlier flight? I would assume these are small planes that hop between the islands.
