When asked...we would recommend Das Stue or the Grand Hyatt, Berlin. Two beautifully designed properties incl. memorable service standards, very different locations and styles. Das Stue, the former Royal Danish Embassy or the Grand Hyatt, the design-forward in city grand hotel. Superb, both of them.

We enjoyed both properties, we also stayed at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, but it wasn't to our taste in terms of hard and soft product/value, but the location is "ace" as they say. Overall we have been glad to have experienced the famous Adlon, but it isn't for us, of course for other guests this might be a bit different. Depends.
