The OP has mentioned in a previous post on another thread that his daughter is 11 (Feb 2017).

So the daughter is either still 11, or 12, assuming this is the same daughter.

Personally I would recommend, if the OP has concerns about his daughter being able to cope on her own, to book the trip with an airline that does offer a UM service.

I don't think the "faking injury" thing is a good example to set a child, which effectively tells them to lie in order to get preferential treatment. 10/10 for resourcefulness though!
