Thanks for the detailed analysis. So if I follow you correctly, if I go with option 1), paying $218 for one night, and points for the other, I will earn 218*(10 + 5 + 10) + 500 = 5950 points. If I go with option 2), paying 2*(27k points + $100) = 54k points + $200, I will earn 200*(10 + 5 + 10) + 500 = 5500, so fairly similar, right? (Yes, I understand that if I pay $218 for both nights I will earn 218 * 25 * 2 + 500 = 11400 points).
