I've never had issues with rude front desk staff! I recently stayed at the Tribeca property and the staff was nice but I will pass on the property in the future because the rooms seemed almost identical to the room decor at the 4 Points Midtown to me and the location just wasn't great. At the Tribeca property the rooms were also ridiculously small....probably the smallest I have had in NYC.
