That seemed to be the consensus on my cycle in/out of LAX today. Local LAX staff with assistance from system-wide personnel executed the move through the night - appeared seamless. Spoke to many Customers on board and most were aware of the move and notified in advance - the Company seems to have done a good job on this. As far as T6 goes...not as modernized as T2 (given their recent renovations), but gate area seems much less congested and more spacious than the previous facility. Having UA right next door in T7 and 5 minutes away is a definite + given the terminal shuffle. There are always numerous tight Hawaii connections, and proximity will bode well here. From an operational standpoint, taxi time to/from the terminal seemed much quicker than usual. A good day.
