Just bounced through EWR on an international connection. Call me "old fashioned" but I loath ordering food via an iPad. It's about as cold and impersonal as possible....all that's missing are robots to serve the food...it's already pretty clear they are already cooking the food.
Sadly, it was a horrible connection. No options outside of the OTG experience, the lounge was over crowded (as usual) and no accommodation for international travelers.
Right? If they had no iPads, or at least an iPad-less section, I’d be all over the OTG places. I like to have personal conversations with servers, hate to have a bright screen flashing at me, and enjoy paying after I eat.
I never tip at OTG either because of the iPads in hope they will remove some.
