If the miles came from an account with DM or PM status, one can change award tickets for free but only when the new flight has (low) award space available for DL miles. I agree that a proactive rebooking is unlikely as OP is exactly at the MCT.
Hopefully everything runs on time and immigration isn't a problem. If OP misses the flight and doesn't get what he wants from a KLM agent he can always try calling the Medallion line. I've had them do some crazy IRROPS rebookings while I've been at European airports. If this is the case, just make sure to show up to the gate early and check that everything is properly ticketed with the agents, as there can be some lag.
