I doubt that DL will rebook the OP in advance just because the OP fears that he/she will misconnect when there's been no schedule change. If the miles came from an account with DM or PM status, one can change award tickets for free but only when the new flight has (low) award space available for DL miles. A further problem is that it seems to be less then 72 hours before departure, when DL award tickets become unchangeable and nonrefundable.
