I agree that BA do seem to give most hotels a "star" more than they actually deserve. However I can't see BA compensating on this. I guess I'd TripAdvisor thoroughly rather than take BAs description. If you read some of the hyperbole on the website in general (service on board exagerations etc) then you could have a higher expectation
