I'm in exactly that situation. My wife works in Paris so I go there every few weeks, usually out on a Thursday back on a Monday.

Because of other travel, I don't need to think hard about maximising ties points to keep my silver card. I started off using CDG, but then have come to prefer ORY - connections to where I need to get to are slightly quicker, the airport is smaller, faster and quieter and although the CX lounge is great at CDG the 212 west lounge at ORY is pretty good. ORY flights usually offer POUGs and I have never seen the CE cabin bigger than 5 rows, so every other trip I so I upgrade on the outbound Thursday night to be fed and more comfortable. I'm npusually booking incisional tickets 6 weeks or so in advance.

I usually alternate flying and the Eurostar , going out in standard prem to make it easier to work/ eat and come back in standard.

I used the Cityjet / AF LCY route a couple of times but this is no longer an option. Using AF through LHR is a bit of a pain as they fly from T4 so have only used to connect to long haul in Paris

Regards
