If you know the name and PNR (and credit card details depending on what you are doing) then airlines seem to universally accept this as enough data and allow access the booking (which matches the website MMB functionality) - a reminder to keep PNRs safe!
If an BAEC account is involved, they often will ask for things like address on the account and birthday, etc.
