I've got a FC mileage redemption that I booked on BA using AS miles for a transatlantic flight from the UK back to the US. Under the BA site it shows that I will be earning Avios for this flight. If I tell it to credit AS instead am I actually going to get credit back to AS? I thought I knew the answer to be no, but I'm confused why BA would indicate credit on their end.
