Research would not be helpful in this case. They only post missing transactions. They would not be the correct department to handle this particular issue, which seems to be that an upcoming stay is not appearing in
JBauer's profile.
Also, if his Ambassador cannot access the reservation in our system, that sends up a red flag to me that the booking is, in fact, not eligible.
Bookings for Design Hotels have to be booked through spg.com, the SPG apps or through the customer contact centers to be eligible. I know that
JBauer says they use spg.com, but he may want to check with his corporate travel service to be sure that they really did this on this booking because it has all the earmarks of having been booked through the hotel's own web site, which would make it ineligible.
But, even so, this may apply as well, if they used a corporate booking tool to make the booking:
Can I earn Starpoints or Eligible Nights for stays booked through my corporate booking tool, or when booking directly with the property at Design Hotels™ member hotels?
No. Only Partner Stays at Design Hotels™ member hotels that are SPG Partner Hotels booked through Starwood Partner Channels (Starwood Websites, SPG Apps, and Starwood Customer Contact Centers) are eligible for earning Starpoints and Eligible Stays and Eligible Nights towards meeting the Gold Minimum Requirement and the Platinum Minimum Requirement in the SPG Program.
