WT - window upper deck
hey,
after being pretty much an aisle person forever I have to say the upper deck window seat was a nice experience. I was in 74K - the window and bin were aligned - same as 75K. 71K looks as if there's only 1 IFE box so more leg room for the window seat there.
Having taken this flight on a middle section aisle seat 2 days ago I can say the window seats on the upper deck have better legroom - the IFE is in the middle of your feet but you can stretch your right (if in K) or left (if in A) leg out fully. I am 5'10" so usually any economy seat is sardine like but this was completely manageable. If you stretched your leg out in the aisle like this you would get inevitably hit by a cart or another person walking by...
The added bonus was the bin - I was able to put all my stuff in there, and then stack a few blankets and a travel pillow on it, allowing me to almost side sleep. And in general the extra elbow room from the bin has the equivalent feel of being in an aisle almost...
So for any aisle diehards who are curious about the upper deck window seats, I can highly recommend!
Anyways seems this thread is mostly for business travellers but for anyone traveling in WT I hope this info is helpful!
