I achieve MVPG mainly on international partners as well (some trips to Asia and some trips to Europe), but I also do some trips on AS to enjoy the benefits: that's usually one Hawaii trip and one Alaska trip every year.

The 100% bonus is a good thing, and the 4 GGUs are useful as well (I usually use them on my Hawaii/Alaska trip).
