I could be wrong, but I believe on certain international routes, AA streamlined the main cabin meal offerings, by offering larger (and supposedly improved) entrees, with fewer side offerings. Not sure if this is one of those routes.

Interesting, maybe so. Though I dare say this main didn't seem larger in any way shape or form, except perhaps caloric content
