Actually, the hotel was at about AU$400 for the nights we were there...in advance. Which is why I booked with points. The hotel was sold out, too, so it was obviously a high demand period that they expect.

It's a Westin in Sydney. I expected much more. Like plugs by the bed, and air con that works properly, and staff that can understand the national language, and management that can keep its promises. Price notwithstanding. Doesn't seem like high expectations to me.
