You can ask and see if that route is poss but the price would probably change. The prices are from DL.com and you can pick the route you want and the price for that route is posted. Best price for days posted went with specific route. Variation are available but at higher price. Also these prices are not the basis e fares which are not upgradeable. Thx for your question.
Delta.dumb did not give me good prices for LGA/MDW to SIN and MNL. I used Google Flights and American Express Travel to get much lower prices. I had to then call the diamond desk and have the Delta agent manually search by flight number because Delta.dumb wasn't giving you all the legally routable, logistical possibilities.
