I tried that. They denied me because they said that, as a result of the rebooking, my suitcase had been stopped in the baggage system, and they refused to have someone look for the suitcase. (Which they have done in other situations in the past. Please don't tell me not to check a suitcase, I can not avoid that.)
And I do not have Nexus/SE or precheck or anything like that. I simply made the connection as a mere mortal passenger.
The only thing that SHOULD HAVE priority in this situation is my suitcase (*G gets a priority tag). Oh the irony...
This is an email I sent to the YVR concierge while waiting to push back in SFO last weekend.
I am only a lowly *G, I am not allowed to talk to a concierge.
I talked to customer service for my return flight, and they said they put a note on the file, but still I was rebooked hours before departure of the connecting flight.
