Don't bother. Its too complicated with TWO separate tickets and SIN airline check in desk will go by the book. MH will interline with QR no problem. But only till MUC. From there its better you check in with Ukraine IA.

Specifically:

1. could I check in in the Biz counter at BKK? I'd try anyway...
2. would the Econ counter if 1. fails put a priority tag on bags?
3. lounge access - I think there is a OW 'rule' about this situation, but it wasn't that clear to me (clearly OK for long-haul J to short-haul Y)

Cheers, TK
1. Check in at BKK at Biz Counter. Explain that you are on Y to KUL but J to AKL.
2. You will have Priority tags all the way
3. No lounge probably in BKK but definitely in KUL. Lets see how it goes.
