when I lived in LA (76-78) I occasionally dated a UA FA who was a regular on what she called the "Oregon Trail" ... LAX-SFO-MFR-EUG-SLE-PDX/PDX-SFO-LAX (or vice-versa) as an out-and-back; also flew PDX-SLE as a passenger in early 79
