Within the BA systems LATAM membership numbers are associated with the TAM fidelidade system. Hence a LATAM number from LAN would not work.
Next time when I'm in London I let them try the LAN Comodoro option which is still in the pulldown at the lounge entry computers.
That's not strictly true, if you are a LATAM Pass member, you always enter your number under the old LAN option and TAM for fidelidade when booking, especially for BA as they have not updated their FFP selection menu. If a number is not recognised by a oneworld airline a couple weeks after the new status is given, I would bring the issue up with LATAM and ask them to refresh their records.
