Staying here is ideal on those days you want to hit the must-see Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The hotel is about 8 min walk from the complex of these 3 monuments. Basilica Cistern, another highly recommended sight, is only across the street from Hagia Sophia.

The Grand Bazaar is some 20-30 min very interesting walk (my preference), but also doable by tram, 2 stops away at Çemberlitas station. The Spice Bazaar is also 2 tram stops away at Eminönü station.

By the way, don't let the hotel name fool you. The closest tram stop to it is Gülhane, *not* Sirkeci.
