I signed us all up on A3. Flying from MIA it looks I'll earn about 20,000 miles each. But. I can't combine accounts until I hit silver which is 24,000 points but I can probably swing a few US domestic F trips on United (I really dislike them but that's a separate story) before the end of year to get me an addl 4K and then if I understand correctly, I can merge accounts.
