If it was a bus gate were there not separate busses going to A and B? I've had a few connections from bus to A to Come recently and almost missed a flight (EK even sent an SMS 5 mins before gate closes, quite impressed). It can be very tight but B to A is still relatively quick compared to the hike to the lower C gates like C5 etc. I'm surprised nonetheless that they charged hin
