Get a hotel near the main station. Take a train when you arrive. Mingle in Tokyo. Early in the morning take the train back to the airport. Depending on luggage situation, can walk to the hotel both ways from the station or take a cab, short distances will be manageable in cost. Get a "return" train ticket and it will be cheaper.
