Unfortunately you will not be entitled to any compensation if you miss flights or have to wait around an airport for a long time. Nothing that you quoted about compensation applies in your case.

Since you know now, choose the option that is best for you (or #4 and get a full refund, then start over with a different airline). Once you choose the option, call DL and they will rebook you.
