With the private security force Amanpulo uses, it's probably much safer to be there than most other places on the planet.

Independent foreign travelers in the Philippines can be targeted if they venture to the wrong places, but that is not the case if traveling to a reputable hotel or resort in a safe area, and certainly is not going to happen at Amanpulo.
