Are you saying you purchased the ticket but it's an authorized user flying? In that situation, unless the AU is one of the people above I'd say no, they aren't covered. The AU should make the purchase, not you.

Thanks. Actually, the AU is one of those. I want to do a mixed booking using points and cash through the Chase Travel Portal, but booking the cash part through a different credit card on which he is not an AU. But I guess it doesn't matter then.
