I plan to arrive 1 hour before the BA flight lands. Is it simple/easy to meet my father in arrivals at DEN?
When you arrive from LAX, follow the signs to baggage claim and take the train to the main terminal. You will exit the trains in the middle of the main hall. You can then collect your bags and wait for your father's flight.

All International arrivals exit on the lower level (level 5 -same as baggage claim), North side of the main terminal (opposite side from the Westin hotel). There is just one exit door so you will meet your father there after he clears customs and immigration.

What is the process between arriving on the domestic flight, presumably collecting luggage, and then departing again on an international flight? Ideally, I would like to accompany him for as much of the process as possible (i.e. until I have to get my flight to LAX).
Arriving domestic and departing international will essentially follow the same process. Upon your arrival from Cody, take the train to main terminal, collect bags on level 5 then go upstairs to level 6 to re-check bags. Go back thru security and take the train to concourse A to wait for the BA flight. When it's time you can just take the train to concourse B for your UA flight.

This assumes you will have to re-check luggage for the BA flight - although you might ask in Cody if they can interline his bags directly to LHR (might not be possible but doesn't hurt to ask). If you're lucky and you don't have to re-check bags then you can stay inside security upon arrival from Cody and just go directly to the BA gate.

Again, this assumes he's already checked in for his LHR flight and has his boarding pass - if not, you will need to go to the BA check-in counter in the main terminal (the BA counter is on the West side, North end of level 6. UA counters are West side, South end - so the check in counters are directly above UA baggage claim on level 5). There is a BA lounge in concourse A if he's eligible.
